HOW TO PLAY WITH SOFTBALL YOUTH: Players that play on our Softball Youth teams are selected from our National Player Ranking Database. To be considered it’s highly recommended that the player goes to our All-American Games, which are hosted all over the country, to enable our scouts to see them compete against premier talent. Anyone can also nominate a player at any time.
Players are placed on Softball Youth Elite teams with others from all around the nation and play against other teams that are participating. All Softball Youth teams are coached by Softball Youth Scouts.
Open to all players in the divisions below. Softball Youth has the right to combine ages divisions if needed.

A pitcher CANNOT wear molds (not even plastic) on the mounds when pitching they have to be in turf shoes. If they wear molds they will eject them from the game.

The vast majority of our Elite athletes are recruited from our All-American Games! However, if you’d like your athlete to be considered, please fill out a nomination form.
All Softball Youth events are STAY-TO-PLAY. In order to participate in the tournaments, all athletes are required to book their lodging through Athletx Travel. Athletx Travel has secured specially discounted rates with the top properties in the area. If you choose not to book your lodging through Athletx Travel, you will be required to pay an alternative lodging fee. Contact hotels-softballyouth@athletx.com for alternative lodging inquiries. If you are considered local to an event (within 75 miles) please let us know so we can verify and get you noted as compliant. If within 2 weeks of the event, Athletx Travel will not be an option and the alternative lodging fee will automatically applied unless the team or player is considered local.
