Softball Youth events include individual player opportunities such as the Softball Youth All-American Games and SY ELITE teams. Softball Youth was founded in 2019 with the idea to provide media coverage and additional opportunities to the youth softball market.
Whether it’s hosting some of the nation’s most competitive tournaments, engaging with players, coaches and parents around the world, or covering the game’s most important developments, Softball Youth is your hub for everything the youth game has to offer.

The Softball Youth Experience

Softball Youth Elite events include hand-selected athletes. These athletes have been recruited from our Softball Youth All-American Games or have been selected in our National Player Nomination system.
We analyze each athlete based on previous performance, video, and prestigious athletic accolades. These athletes are put on teams to compete in high-level, prominent tournaments nationwide including PGF, Diamond 9 and the like.
This experience includes the opportunity to compete with other A-level athletes from across the country, the ability to practice at a college venue and have NCAA award winners and coaches as guest coaches. Guest appearances by well-known softball legends can also be a part of the experience.
Your registration will also include two jerseys, headgear and a practice shirt to round out the Softball Youth Elite experience.
HOW TO PLAY WITH SOFTBALL YOUTH ELITE: Players that play in our Softball Youth® ELITE are selected from our National Player Ranking Database. To be considered it’s highly recommended that the player goes through one of our Softball Youth All-American Games. Anyone can also nominate a player at any time.
MEET THE SoftBALL YOUTH TEAM

Hey Everyone! Please, call me Allie and avoid the ridiculous last name 🙂 I recently relocated my family to Louisville to begin this position as the Director of Fastpitch Softball. I have spent the last 10 years coaching Division I softball and am so excited about this new venture! I genuinely love the game and sharing that love with other coaches, athletes and parents across the country at our events. I have two beautiful children that have changed my life – daughter, Brooks Vivian and son, Bruder Reid and enjoy carting them around while traveling to new places in my free time.
What is your favorite sports movie, and which character would you be in it?
My favorite sports movie is obviously, “A League of Their Own.” I’d like to think I would be Dottie Hinson, because she’s the superstar of the league. But in all reality, I am probably Doris Murphy – the one that steps in when Jimmy Dugan can’t perform his management duties. Plus – she’s a heck of an infielder 🙂
What is the wisest thing anyone has ever told you?
I consider my father to be a very zen, wise man. He always tells me “things are so much more beautiful when you have to work for them.” I think of that saying a lot during any time of struggle, and it helps me get to the other side.
My name is Brynn Baca and I was born and raised in Central Texas where I went to Round Rock High School. After graduating early from high school, I played Division I softball at Lamar University. After graduating with a business degree and finishing my softball career in 2017, I moved to Magnolia, Arkansas to receive my Master’s degree in Kinesiology and was a graduate assistant for the softball team. I spent three years at Stephen F. Austin State as an assistant softball coach. If I am not doing something softball related you can catch me at a Crossfit gym, fishing, or hanging out with my puppy, Lu. Along with my dog, my family is everything to me. I am excited to be in Louisville and be apart of the Athletx family.
What sport(s) did you play growing up?
Growing up I played baseball, softball, and basketball mainly. I started out playing baseball and was the only girl, then switched and played softball. When I got to college, I found out about the USA Women’s National Baseball Team and participated in WNDP and National Trials.
How many siblings do you have, and which is the coolest one?
I have 4 siblings, huge blended family. I am the middle of all five of us. A little crazy, a lot of fun, but we are all cool in our own ways.
Hey Everyone! My name is Alicja Wolny-and yes it is spelled with a J but pronounced just like Alisha 😉 I was born and raised in Northern California and moved to Louisville in 2009 where I was recruited to play softball for the University of Louisville. GO CARDS! I ended my collegiate career in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. I continue to spread my love of the game through 502 Softball Academy giving lessons and practicing with teams. I am the typical crazy fur baby mom to my little girl Kona May and my family is what makes my world spin (Hi Mom, Dad, and Bro!) I have an European passport so traveling all over the world is my JAM and spending time with my loved ones is where my free time goes. Excited to make softball grow with the Athletx family!
What sport did you play growing up?
Softball! I started playing when I was 3 and recently hung up the cleats at age 28. I played elite travel ball growing up and continued my career at the University of Louisville. I was an All-4 time BIG EAST player and became an All-American in 2013. I then continued my career playing for Great Britain’s Women’s Softball Team. I played 4 tours including: 2 European Cups, 1 World Cup, and the Olympic Trials for Tokyo 2020.
Any special talents?
I may or may not be able to talk with mouth closed.
